She looks like young Diana Rose.

Rooting for her big time. It doesn't hurt that I met her and her family several times (she is from San Diego) and know some about the difficulties she had growing up (for example her family was homeless for a time). She stuck it out for 4 years in the era preceeding the "kinder, gentler Geno", and I wish her all the best.

Anyone knows what was going with her in the last few years? she played in the WNBA for few years and did well and played in Israel (was the MVP of the league if I'm not mistaken) and then in Italy.

No question Charde Houston had a lot of talent. She is also unique in that she is a Husky who played pro ball, yet Geno rarely if ever brings up her name.

I think that (at least in private) Geno might nominate Charde for his "least enjoyable to coach" award. Of course, he never had to coach Allen Iverson.

As far as I know, he has never (at least since Charde was in Storrs) recruited any other player with a similarly troubled background. I'll bet that he feels one was enough.
