Same school at Dan Hurley, looks talented in his videos. ESPN has him 5-star, 90 overall. I know it's 2 years away, but has anyone heard any info about our recruiting with him? Would love to snatch him up in 2015, especially since he knows how to play with Dan Hurley. UConn recruiting is looking bright with Ollie! Now we need to get Ray Allen to retire and jump on staff also.

Our chances with Tyler Dorsey should be much improved with Dan Hurley committed. Dan Hurley and TD play for the same HS (St John Bosco) and the same club team (Belmont Shore) and, interestingly, they are both playing for ICP in the Nike EYBL this weekend (Dorsey scored 20 and Dan Hurley 19 in a win over Mac Irvin Fire). Dorsey would be a huge get. He is arguably the best PG in SoCal, regardless of class. Better size and strength than McLaughlin or Parker Jackson-Cartwright (AZ commit). Although McLaughlin is definitely the better 3-pt shooter, defender, and is quicker.

Dorsey will be very good. Top 20 if not higher in his class. We were very high in his list before Hamilton committed and it could make us more attractive. He looks like he will be a priority in 2015 so far.

If we can keep Dan Hurley for more than 1 season, which we are good at doing, I think that would be a HUGE draw for Dorsey. They also play with that kid Vance Jackson from the 2016 class on their Belmont Shore team. Dan Hurley is looking like not only a huge pickup for 2014, but for the future because LA kids will start paying attention to us more. McLaughlin is out in Rancho like an hour from LA, Dorsey is LA, Jackson is Pasadena. Between DeAndre for now, Dan Hurley and Ollie, we are looking bright for the future!
