Jake W exaggerating kids stats, size, and ranking has got to be one of the biggest pet peeves I have with recruiting. He's pretty much ranked 25-30. WHY lie about that?

The kid is talented. Potentially coming back to the east coast after leaving Sierra Canyon. Let's make it happen.

Looks taller than 6'4 to me. Great size. He's grown since before he went out west. Passing and defense impressed me the most in these obviously limited highlights. Not a super athlete but not bad either. Kind of a bad dunker because he doesn't know how to go off of one foot? weird.

No jumpers which doesn't sit well with me, but that could just be these games, or a choice the highlight makers made. Who knows.

Edit: Watching some sierra canyon games and he does hit some Js. Not a GREAT shooter, but not a non-shooter either. The kid is really good. Inbounds for his team, great passer for his size. Super strong.

A quick google search indicates no association with prolific prep at all, ever. Are you thinking of Kamari Lands the kid who committed to Cuse a while back?

Yep, kind of hoping we'd have picked up Richmond just because the meltdowns on their board when they lose recruiting battles to us are always entertaining. When they lost him to Seton Hall at least poster said "At least it wasn't UConn."

I only say NY/NJ because it’s been strictly Kimani land it seems, but Murray is deeply connected there as well.

I really like how Westry moves, Smooth, super high level natural athleticism. Tip top basketball player. Hurley and Co. would do well to land this guy.
