Today's Mountain West marquee game tips in 5 minutes on the UNLV campus as the Rebs host Boise State.
BS pep band REALLY representing....both musically and fashion forward. Yesterday they sported orange cpas... Today white
The next three games will be exciting
The wondering Lobos who are well represented at this game will have their hands full with darkhorse SDS
Wyoming should take care of the Falcons and their lackluster band.

28-4 James Madison lost to Arkansas State.
26-3 Texas San Antonio lost to Rice.
UNLV is on the ropes.

Boise State was the better team for the first 35 minutes. But they play 40 minutes and the Rebs showed why under Lindy La Rocque UNLV is a consistent champion.
BTW Roland is going to be very very good.
PS I couldn't dodge Oll Trapper. My row got picked in the 4th quarter.
5 minutes going to Lobos v Aztecs tip. This game will be challenged to equal the opener. UNLV victory was a consistently well played entertaining game.
I did not realize post Alyssa Brown was from the dirty t. Coach Barnes could have used a player of her caliber, in this victory 10 board, clutch free throws and she has the most important ability-availability--3 fouls.

The wandering Lobos score 20 in the first quarter, 50 for the entire game as they couldn't find or buy a bucket as the game progress ed.
The Falcons are flying high and giving the Cowgirls a game and lead by 6 at the half.
Must be the pep band for Air Force which suddenly is inspired and showing an interest in both the game and in the music. Now that they've demonstrating their chops they're actually really good musicians.
Allison Fertig is one rebound short of a double-double but she's not getting a whole lot of help Not certain how long the falcons can defend the inbounds to her.

Will never forget 1st/2nd Round games hosted in Seattle one year at then Key Arena, Wyoming vs. Louisville IIRC. Right in front of my dad and I sat two Wyoming fans...with full on 10 gallon hats that blocked our view of about 75% of the court. They were stunned when we asked if they could remove them. They complied, but I'm not quite sure how they didn't realize how much of an obstruction those things are.

Wyoming was impressive. In the second half they hit a ton of threes(7-12 for the game).
That's how they beat UNLV in the final regular season game and if they hit threes like this I think they'll beat the Rebs.
In the finale the Rams pep band with a WM pep band best 5 tuba players dominates the pregame
Tall task for the Dawgs if they are to be the only lowest seed to win tonight
Tomorrow 1pm tip for WCC championship - only 1/2 the match up I expected. Bonus I will get to see the number one ranked pep band as those Beavs can play, song and dance. And, the game should be pretty good

Mia Jacobs led the Dawgs to the only upset of the night. The Rams dug themselves into a massive hole as they were ice cold in the first half.
Fresno hit their first three shots all threes, never trailed, and road Jacobs to a semi watch up with the Cowgirls.

The Ronseik sisters play their final game together. I wondered why Miller sat Hannah for the final 30 seconds..... Would have been nice to allow the sisters to end the game together.

With possibly 3 post season tournaments in addition to the NCAA Tourney, almost everybody will qualify for post season. Colorado St. certainly should be included in either WNIT or WBIT.
