So when the bracket was formed for the women the Elite 8 was supposed to be:
3 Pac - USC (1),Stanford (2), UCLA (2)
2 BIG10 - Iowa (1), Ohio (2)
1 ACC -ND (2)
1 Big 12 - TX (1)
1 SEC - SC (1)
What we actually get is:
2 - Pac - USC (1), OSU (3)
2 - SEC - SC (1), LSU (3)
1 ACC - NCST (3)
1 BIG10 - Iowa (1)
1 Big 12 - TX (1)
1 SEC - SC (1)
1 BE - Uconn (3)
Don't remember if we have ever had a tournament with all 4 #2 seeds getting beaten before the E8, but it is weird. 4 one seeds and 4 three seeds making the E8. Uconn's bracket was the only one where the S16 game wasn't a 2v3 game with Duke crashing that party.
