Bama won't get in over Texas. Texas beat Bama, and Texas is an even bigger TV draw than Bama.

Got no problem with FSU being in the CFP, specially if it flips off the perpetually entitled SEC, but I will gladly pray and root for the ACC to get shafted, cuz ya know, karma demands it.

Announcement: Next year we are going to 12 CFP teams to improve the process. This year is an example of why that is an improvement. The best teams and the most deserving teams should make the CFP. With how this season has played out, we are increasing the CFP to 8 teams this year as a step to the 12 team format next year. The deserving P5 champions are in: Bama, Michigan, Washington, Texas, and FSU. The next 3 in are Georgia, OSU, and Oregon. The 8 team playoff results in inclusion of the most deserving, the P5 conference champs, and the highest rated from multiple systems. All P-5 teams with zero or one loss are included. Also included is 2 loss Oregon which played for its conference championship.

I’m in the “most deserving” camp, not “the best teams” camp, when deciding who is going to be national champ when there is only 4 slots. That’s why FSU and Texas should be in and Bama/UGA out. Agree this year proves why going to 12 was necessary. Will either be the 12 best or the 11 best and the best G5. If you are the 12th best p5 in that scenario, tough luck.
