I absolutely think that if Tennessee had to lose one (presumably this one or a rematch against Bama in the SEC title game) they are better served having lost this one. If they can avoid dropping another one, they'll be a one loss team in the SEC, on a winning streak with a win over Alabama.

The more interesting scenario to me is can the SEC get 3 in... Bama wins out and upsets Georgia. Now Bama, Tennessee and Georgia each have one loss and are 1-1 in the grouping. How do you split them up. 3 SEC + Ohio State/Michigan winner may well be the top 4-some this year.

Moot point now. Bama is dead as far as CFP.

There are 11 teams left.

Georgia
Ohio State
Michigan
TCU
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Clemson
Oregon
USC
UCLA
UNC

First five control their own destiny.

Not so sure LSU is eliminated yet. They still have a shot after yesterday if they win out, which would be 11-2 with a win over Bama, Ole miss and likely win over Georgia in the sec championship and fsu isn't all that bad as a loss. If Bama beats Ole miss who otherwise go 2-1, lsu also has the best pair of wins.
