albeit the FCS level on Saturday 8/23/14. Sam Houston State vs. Eastern Washington... Nice to have football back...

No G5 school in AP top 25 preseason poll. Hmmm let's see Baylor ranked 10th, UCF not ranked?? NC ranked 23rd, ECU beat them last year, hmmm. Conspiracy theory? You bet!

Conspiracy hell-yes...... one step further...ESPN ribbon blatantly pushed yesterday in the ESPN ribbon that no schools in G5 were included in top 25....which pushes their agenda. Marketing and sales by ESPN of the P5 in subtle and not so subtle ways.

Can't wait til we 'shock the world' and are ranked by week 5 (yeah, I'm drinking HCBD's koolaid)

Might as well try to get used to this. Another very easy way to make sure that a G5 doesn't get into the playoffs is to keep them out of the Top 25 for as long as possible. Preseason polls are stupid enough on their own merit. There shouldn't be a poll of any kind until week 4, at the earliest. But I digress. Yup, make a G5 leapfrog at least 20-something schools to get into a top 4 position for playoff positioning. That's the August mantra to keep the G5 out. The next great "power" move will be the absurd week-to-week ranking shifts. P5 schools will likely drop a few spots after losses. But God forbid a G5 school loses a game. Drops of 10+ spots are very possible.

I bet they just ignore the ballots and just publish whatever they want.

I would really like to see what's been going on under the covers down in Waco for the past 7 years.

I'm confident the polls are the result of serious deliberation among the finest minds in CFB!
