Great news. They should allow teams to testing out of the mandatory quarantine as well...no positive tests for 3 days.

It's only 7 days with a negative test so it kinda works out that way already. Usually people don't discover they've been exposed and need to quarantine until they're a few days in. So say you find out you were exposed late on day 3. You get a test on day 4, negative results day 5. If you got two more tests you'd be on day 7 anyways.

Didn't Gonzaga reduce the team quarantine to zero days already? I guess if ranked #1 the rules don't apply.

Didn't they say it was someone who wasn't really with the team? Something like that. Seems like a good way to get around the rules.

A player and a team staff member tested positive, not sure how the 2 would not have had any contact with rest of team but I guess they found a loophole.

it is good news though, 7 days and test way out of quarantine seems realistic to keep season viable until vaccine is widely available.

Many states had been requiring mandatory 14 day quarantines if you traveled from a "hot spot". As someone who has tried multiple times to schedule a vacation only to get stopped repeatedly, this is definitely new, and welcome, news.

Not NY, NJ, CT. Until recently when they changed to negative test and a 3 day quarantine.
