Do we know who is the starting pitcher. Need to keep winning. I am glad the weather broke.

4-1 in the 5th. We just knocked CCSU's starting pitcher out of the game.

The biggest difference between teams like us and CCSU is our pitching depth. We have more of it...much more.

Testani has stuck out looking twice. Not sure why you'd strike out looking with two runners in scoring position with less than two outs. Sigh...freshman!

We really have to be careful here, Central has 2 runners on.

7-4 win. Let's win this series against Seton Hall.

12-11...we have won 6 in a row.

Kids looked good today. Could have been a little better in some instances but overall a solid win. CCSU looked like they were a decent team.

Time to take care of business against SHU

These last two games were actually 2 big wins. A split or if we would have lost 2 would have been disastrous. We have some momentum now. We need to win the SH series, but as always I am greedy and looking for a sweep. Also after the SH series we play 14 of next 18 away. That will be a very important stretch. Most of the teams except Louisville are at about .500 or lower, but it is never easy playing on the road. That stretch of games may very well determine our NCAA at large chances.

I watched him throw a bullpen session on Wednesday so it appears he is on normal schedule to pitch this weekend. Didn't look like he had any discomfort while throwing.

The dad of one of the players told me to expect Ward to start on Friday. He just had a little stiffness in shoulder, and they were being cautious. He should be ready to go.
