I have to say, as much as I love guys like Bilas,Raftery and, yes, even Gottlieb, CBSSports.com has put together some folks who are doing a stellar job of covering college hoops from soup to nuts so to speak. Their three times a week 30-40 minute podcasts(available at the site or from iTunes) are great; and the discussions are interesting, heated at times , and wide ranging as far as topics go. Now they've(Goodman,Parrish,Norlander and Borzello) put together their individual picks for a 2011-12 Dream Team including coaching staffs and potential recruits. While we wait for the Huskies to hit the floor again, this makes for some interesting and entertaining reading. Enjoy!!! :)

GO HUSKIES!!! BEAT THE CRUSADERS!!!

I have no idea what Norlander is thinking. Two point guards and three post players? Good luck with that. Whoever you dump the ball into, I'll run a big-to-big double at them and try to make those guys beat me as passers.

mine would be

PG: Shabazz Napier, Uconn
SG: Jeremy Lamb, Uconn
SF: Roscoe Smith, Uconn
PF: Alex Oriakhi, Uconn
C: Andre Drummond, Uconn

Bench:
Spark: Ryan Boatright, Uconn
SF: Deandre Daniels, Uconn
PF: Tyler Olander, Uconn
SF: Niels Giffey, Uconn

Coach
Jim Calhoun
Kevin Ollie
George Blaney
Glen Miller

Clay Davis is great tho.

To highjack this thread even further:

1. Omar (has to be #1)
2. Stringer Bell
3. McNulty
4. Freamon
5. Wallace/Rawls (couldn't decide)

O wow... I did forget about him. What a debate we have going here way better than debating what the best lineup is.

Obviously Gustavo is known for his ability to fly under the radar and his longevity in the drug game.

However Avon and Stringer are the real deal. If Avon and Stringer didn't have the best detective in the world Jimmy McNulty after them they might still be doing it today.

CBS doing a stellar job? Parrish is the biggest in sports-writing.
