Good news from WNBA.com:

"As part of its game coverage, CBS Sports Network will showcase all post-game ceremonies immediately following a UConn victory.
Immediately following UConn-Oklahoma, CBS Sports Network will air a live edition of WE NEED TO TALK with panelists Dana Jacobson, Dara Torres, Andrea Kremer and former UConn All-American Swin Cash. The special live edition of the show will feature interviews and more post-game reactions.":)

Dara Torres? Why is a former swimmer on this panel? I am not convinced she brings anything of substance to this discussion. In fact, knowing a bit of her, she’s a complete loner and knows nothing of team concepts. She’s an Olympic Swimming name whose depth of basketball is less than my 9 year old neighbor. Seriously, no one else more qualified was available??? I will hope SNY will figure something out.

Clearly, they want exposure for their show "WE NEED TO TALK". I imagine they will greatly defer to Swin for post game analysis and perspective. SNY will probably put something together (along with strong Kia features) in front of the 12/22 game against Duquesne.

Why not Torres?

I expect her to talk about longevity and the effort it takes to maintain excellence over decades.

She is part of their permanent "We Need To Talk" panel - an ongoing program on CBS-Spots, so doubt they would go so far as to replace her for that one time.

And the hint of performance enhancers possibly...

Well hallelujah, somebody at CBS Sports got a wake up call (or an epiphany). You think someone there read some of our posts and comments here in the yard? This is the best news I heard all week. Thanks MJL243, and thank you CBS. I'm glad someone at CBS Sports decided to give this history making game the coverage it deserves.

After thought - It won't happen, but wouldn't it dash a lot of post game programming and celebration if UConn lost this game? The players understand the significance of this game, add to that, they know that a lot of Geno's former players and assistants, along with many of his coaching peers (friends) will be in attendance.
They've (UConn & Mohegan Sun Arena) had 10 days to make plans for this monumental occasion. They will get it right. There's no way UConn loses this game.

I can see you are the kind that will find something positive, if one looks for it, in any posting.

That sure ain't the Pedro I knew in Puerto Rico. He wasn't that blond!

So many of those stats are mind boggling, but this one has my attention today: "As impressive as those numbers are, a win on Tuesday would mean Auriemma needed 101 games to go from 900 to 1,000 wins."

Really makes no sense. He truly is the GOAT

Reading the lists makes me think if I wasn’t. UCONN fan I would hate them a lot .
