So let me get this straight...If nothing changes and we are banned from the 2013 tournament becuase we had a bad APR score mainly becuase we had a lot of transfers and kids not finishing in good standing, the punishment is to ban us and as a result encourage more kids to transfer and give us an even worse score down the road. That makes sense. Thanks NCAA for helping us fix our score!

Transfers to D1 programs in good standing would not hurt the score.

If they transfer in good standing it doesn't hurt the score.

Yes, but how likely is it that they are still in good standing, if they are PO'd about the end of the season. They may just want to get out of dodge. I'm not saying its going to happen, but its certainly more likely.

So Jamal Coombs-McDaniel wasn't in good academic standing when he transfered? Wasn't he here taking summer classes, how did he leave in bad standing?

I rag on AO for his play at times, but he's a smart kid. Didn't he log a 3.6 gpa last semester? I highly doubt he's the type to just pack it in. IF he leaves, he'll do it in good standing.

I have a lot of Nigerian friends, no way he (or his family) let's his grades falter. Generally they're very serious about education

Who said Jamal Coombs-McDaniel wasn't?

The reason why our score was not perfect for the past year was because of JCMs transfer, it was like 975 or something like that. Maybe someone can clarify but I do think you get dinged a bit if a player transfers in good standing, I don't want to speak negatively of Jamal Coombs-McDaniel if he did leave in good standing.

I believe Jamal Coombs-McDaniel left in GS. Our piss poor APR apparently is named Gavin Edwards, the 6-11 kid from Georgia, Nate Miles, and the 2 kids who left early 3 yrs ago. Transferring or leaving not in good standing is a no no.We need more Oakafors and Kembas, both graduated in 3 yrs.

Nope Jamal Coombs-McDaniel is the reason we're at 975 instead of 1000.
