Lol great choices.

I just realized all the actors I cast are dead, except for the fruitbat.

How about Isaiah Whitlock Jr. as Charles Barkley in the studio in 2014, picking UConn to lose every game?

Edit: You forgot Calipari. Michael Rispoli?

This is a funny thread. As an old guy, I could almost guess posters' ages by the names they choose as actors. Many posts are full of names I totally don't recognize, obviously done by younger posters. The ones full of names I recognize are most likely geezers like me. I can just hear younger posters asking "who the heck is Fred McMurray?"

A young Steve McQueen as Cam Spenser

Im changing my Dan Hurley actor to Sybil.

I feel like the players should play themselves. They all seem to have their own charisma which none other could replicate. El, Rip, Sir Walter Ray, and especially the younger players.

Coaches are another story I suppose but even they are hard to duplicate.

Ed Norton Jr as young JC. Just popped into my head. Gene Hackman could play JC but Gene's a little too old now. Dude was born in 1930!!!

The only doppelganger I see is Barry Pepper and Joey Californication but Joey is still much younger so go with Joey Cajones.

For levity, Jonah Hill as George Blaney. Or Stephen Root. I didn't even know Stephen's name until I googled him tonight. He was in Justified and News Radio.

This includes a clip from News Radio, classic Stephen

Cam Spencer…..Eminem

All inspired choices.

But I'm not accepting anyone as JC besides Lenny Clarke. The man was born to play that role.

I saw this guy, Guy Pearce. I think he'd make a good Dan Hurley if he shaved his head and face. Assuming he could channel the energy and personality.

I made the mistake of watching his version of Scrooge last Christmas. I cannot get that creepiness out of my head. It was the most deranged, unapologetic, non-redeeming interpretation I've ever seen.

Which would make him perfect for Randy Edsall

Here's a nice list of options to play Boeheim
Great find. Can't do Pitt or Hemsworth as JB - too buff.

But Steven Seagal would be an inspired choice. As would Iggy Azalea.
