Caron spoke to the team after BYU game!

Yes, a very valid argument can be made that Dan Hurley is nearing GOAT status, but we can never forget how high of a bar it is to clear to be nearing GOAT status as a men's basketball coach at UConn.

There is an exceptionally short list of coaches who belong in the same conversation as JC when it come to what he accomplished, especially when compared to where the program started when he arrived here.

I love Dan Hurley. But he's still got a while to go to catch up to what JC did. Taking the doormat of the Big East to not only the top of the conference but all of college basketball is a feat practically nobody else has matched in modern times. Danny only wanted to helm this program because of what JC made it.

All that said, a few more titles and I'll give the crown to Dan Hurley!

I love this stuff, so much legacy, so much experience, so much positive influence, all towards our current players seeing that they are part of something greater when they put on that UConn uniform.

Agreed. If Danny keeps it up and gets to 4# rings of his own, he can be the GOAT.

Right now, that’s Calhoun
