Doty started tonight for the last time. It was the 126th start in her UConn career.

Not bad for a player who's had to battle through as many injuries as she has.

Honey Badger gave it all and then some over the course of her long Husky career!

One of my favorite players of all time. Gritty, tough, classy.... we will never know how much her guts and determination impacted this team but I will miss her and Kelly so much.

Our last remembrance...
Sweet Caroline. Good times never seemed so good.
Whereever you go, you'll do all that one could.

Good bye Caroline.....but for injuries we can only imagine what coulda been. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Pretty amazing actually.... She and Heather went to FIVE Final Fours and leave with 3 rings.
that puts them up there with DT as all-time greats

I think so, too, pap. They were never quite as on top of us the rest of the game.

Call me delusional, but, I think Caroline's flagrant foul call was key in this game. The officials realized that someone can get hurt and started to make quick whistles in an effort to prevent further aggressive play. Like it or not, this style of officiating favors UConn, even though UConn gets its share of aggressive fouls. We are, IMO, the deepest and most talented and will win, running away, in this style of officiated game.

Caroline went over to check on Bria Smith, good to see.

And what a way to go out! Caroline and Heather were on three national champions in their five years at UConn. Kelly was in four final fours and on two national champions. How many women's college basketball players can say that?

No more having to read people questioning every start that Caroline made.

I was surprised. I thought that Jeff would have designed a much more physical game plan against us.

It's called going out the right (UCONN) way!

A ND type physical game against us would have been very hard with his current personnel. His guards are not big nor are his posts and he had to use swarming techniques. The breadth of UCONN's talent was to broad for that to work.
