It will be interesting to see what level of additional athleticism Caroline is able to recover by next fall. I would imagine a little bit, but probably not a whole lot. But just the additional confidence that she will have, being that much further removed from the injury time-wise, should count for something. That, and it being her last go-round.....
I think that Caroline's value next year won't be measured so much in minutes as in leadership. Out of the three remaining Huskies with Championship experience (CDoty, HB, KF) she is the best equipped to inculcate the frosh in the Winning Way. Kelly is getting more vocal, too, and will do her best work on the court and after games. Caroline more so all the time, like a fifth-year Honey Badger in the frosh's ears
She can be a great stabilizing force in games and can still have brilliant moments (Duke). But her greatest value to the team going forward is the same stuff she will someday bring to bear as a coach. Moriah, in particular, stands to gain
a lot from this one-year overlap with Caroline.
