Much respect for this joyful young woman. Even though she didn't get the PT she certainly must have hoped for she was always cheerful and rooting for her team all the time. Best of luck wherever you go. May it it be a happy experience.

I agree. Not surprising and wishing her the best. I still remember the NC State game her freshman year. One of the few bright in that game
That NC state game showed a lot of promise, and she did hit a big 3 in last years elite 8 game. Hope she can find a spot where she can find meaningful minutes and regain that form. Not surprised by this and think it’s probably the right decision for her. Wish her luck.

Qadence had a productive freshman season & expected to be a key contributor in 24/25.
But the additions of Chen, Cheli, Ziebell, Strong, etc limited her playing time. Despite this, her attitude always stayed positive & she gave 100% in a limited role. She was a very loyal, supportive teammate.
Good luck to Q!

Nah. I figured Barker would leave.

The key players are still there plus add Lwger-Walker and baby Betts. And now they’ve got a bunch of room to go after 3 point shooters in the portal.
Who are their key players outside of Betts, Rice and Leger-Walker at this point? Is Jaquez a junior?

I think she's seen the writing on the wall.........I hope Q picks a slightly less competitive program so that she'll get the minutes she wants........she might very well start for a number of programs........how about Georgetown for her to be close to home?
Or that university in College Park.
But they might be considered competitive.

It is rewarding that Q leaves with a Championship. The stats don't reveal her value, but she was always a supportive, vocal cheerleader from the bench.
And at UCONN, the reserves are treated as well as the starters. Q was embraced by her coaches & teammates!

What a nice kid! I was at the first Big East tournament game, and after UCONN finished,
when the Villanova-Marquette game started, Q was sitting in the stands, happily chatting with fans, posing for photos, and just generally being friendly to anyone who saw her.

I wish Q the very best. Few transfers will have her resume. She has learnt from the highest caliber coaching staff and played alongside the very best teammates. She has experienced 2 final fours and one national championship. I hope she has the opportunity to showcase her talents in a great program.
