Just checked and women are #1'. ....men 2 points behind FSU.

So Florida state gets the Cadillac, UConn gets the steak knives, and everyone else is fired?

What does this mean and how does it help?

And Rutgers, BC, Cuse and L'Ville are nowhere to be found.

Downhill from here - spring is our dead period. Occasionally a couple points from baseball - but baseball/softball, tennis, golf, outdoor track are where the warm weather schools gobble up major points.

Lacrosse wouldn't even help that much, since not many schools sponsor it at the DI level.

That's not fair - if you look at the full men's standings, Syracuse is right there, tied for 86th with 1 point (with St. Francis of Brooklyn) and tied for 66th on the women's side with 2 points (with Stephen F. Austin, Jacksonville State and New Hampshire, among others).

BC does get some hockey points, but Rutgers truly is nowhere to be found.

Unfortunately it means nothing and won't help a lick (I assume you are talking about CR). All this is is validation of what we already know but fans from other parts of the country might not: we have one HELL of an Athletic Department.

There's that other one that puts a lot of emphasis on skeet shooting, basket weaving, underwater plundering, table making, and other merit badge type sports. THAT IS THE ONE THAT MATTERS!!
