UConn's men's basketball team has surprised most (every?) commentators by getting this far in the tournament. After all, they lost 3 times to Louisville, including a 48-81 drubbing. They were at risk of being upset by St. Joe's and simply could not win against Villanova, Iowa State or Michigan State which is a Tom Izzo coached team. Florida is the overall #1 seed and UConn's win in the first game against Billy Donovan's juggernaut was just a fluke. Then, there is the preseason #1 Kentucky squad, the new fab 5, all future NBA lottery picks, 6'6" twin guards vs. those short and weak UConn guards....
As Charles Barkley said going into the second half vs. Michigan State it "will be a "turrible blowout." They simply are too short and not as athletic as the top tournament teams and their coach is unproven....
Wait, there doesn't seem to be any team left to be prohibitive favorites over the Huskies.
