I feel like Charlie Brown kicking the football. I keep believing this time Lucy won't pull it away. Aaaarrrgh, renewed again.
 
I'm out this year. I'll go to a few games with tickets from the secondary market. My entertainment budget is strapped enough as it is.

Plus the home slate is just laughably bad.

I have a hookup for the Chief's game on Sunday also. Making a weekend out of it.

No idea if they're home but a Cards game on Friday night would make a sports fan's wet dream of a weekend.

I don't live in CT, but I'd have four season tickets if I did. Dollar for dollar, it beats the NFL.

You're right that the home schedule is bad, but I doubt that you'd be bored if we beat all of those teams by 3 touchdowns either.

CT Mike gave me my homework assignment and I contacted the ticket office. I did not call, but e.mailed and asked about the 1 year commit and if this was also going to be the case going forward. This is the reply I got back:

This is only a temporary one year extension of the previous three year cycle. Next year we will continue to go by the three year seating term.

Boilerplate.......and they are on the clock. 2-10 or 1-11 and I cannot fathom them asking for a 3 year commit next year.

Well there's that time that you said Boyle was better than Whitmer, only to have you claim after the season that you never said that (despite me quoting your post). But other than that, nothing.

Not what I said. I said Boyle has a better arm. I also said that you can't win with Whitmer. But I never said what you ascribe to me.

I think the question is : is it $1 for EACH indefensible post, or $1 if there's ANY indefensible post... Because we could be talking a big difference here. :)
 
Because I'm bored, easily cave to peer pressure, and also because I'm kind of a Richard:

In the Tim Boyle Poll thread, the choices were:

-The next coming of Dan Orlovsky
-A clear improvement over Whitmer and should start
-Not an upgrade over Whitmer and should have redshirted
-The worst QB since Johnny Mac
-Need more information

Agreed it's a small sample size. But it's enough to make a judgement.

So, in the middle of October, I claimed it was too early to make a determination. Palatine claimed it was as well, but only for me. Others such as himself were quicker studies (LOL). Palatine also stated that Boyle showed more poise, a better arm, and ran better.

It was enough for him to make the judgement.

Only now he claims to have never made the judgement. So his track record with backup QB's is still in tact.
