No. Of course not. Saying that (other than USF) every game is winnable is a heck of a lot different than thinking we are good enough to win 8 straight.

Flip BC and ECU and that's what I think we'll do. ECU is much better than BC and will have a much tougher home crowd.

The season was basically thrown away thanks to that final 20 secs at Navy.

Evidence for a spectacular turnaround has to start this week because the previous body of work does not support it. Navy was a huge blow and an epic failure by the coaches, but Cincy always lined up as a pivotal game. Now any hopes of a Bowl game probably depend on it.

USF will be tough. I just hope The coaching staff is getting the kinks out of the defensive secondary and hopefully on offense Sheriffs can hit his targets downfield with more accuracy.

Toss ups:

Need an upset
-Cincy
-USF

Best case (realistic) scenario is that we beat Tulane, upset Cincinnati and then take out three out of four toss up games. That would get us to 7-5 and I'd be really happy with that. Do I think that's what WILL happen? No. My guess is we squeak out 6-6, but it's going to take us winning one of the next two. If we drop games to Cincy and USF, I think we tank the rest of the way.
