Can we start 7-0 in the conference

We should, but I like us having a few chinks in the armor. A little something to put a chip or two on the shoulder has served us well.

I like to win every game, but if we don’t win the last one, it’s all for naught.

He's asking if we can win the game on Tuesday at Seton Hall.

He's not asking if we'll go undefeated in Big East play before the NCAA tournament.

I was in Newark for this one last year. If I’m Shaheen, I full court press starting from the first make.

Its gonna be rocking in Newark. And Seton Hall is going to be ranked with 5 teams ranked #20-#25 losing.

We have to try and take away their homecourt advantage

Horde, do your thing. Unfortunately, I can't help you on Tuesday

Definitely gonna be a tough one. I’m looking forward to the HeyAdrien! scouting report cuz Idk a thing about SHU this year other than they’re possibly the next best team in the conference and we tend to lose there even when that’s not the case.

It is kind of weird that our first six games just happened to be against the worst teams in the league.

I vaguely remember a few years when UConn started out fantastic until mid January.

Challenges ahead. The best thing to come out of Seton Hall is about to return. I'm looking forward to Tuesday's game.

Hurley has done so much, obviously, but seems to have a block @Shall. I think he's lost 4 or 5 in a row there, including giving up late leads and 1 point losses. I had this penciled as a loss before the season as well as @Nova, @Creighton. I think I had one surprise home loss for 16-4 but we will see. If he wins this I think we can start to feel like we have something really special in 2026.

I say everyone in that locker room takes a shot of pickle juice and electrolytes, it's not even an option. Bring trash buckets on the trip.

I know. I’m saying that we may lose at Seton Hall, and if we do, I won’t care that much. A few lumps are good for a team.

I get a funny feeling they grab this win this year. It feels like they've been building to play a strong game for a full 40, and Alex has never won in Newark. He'll want it and teammates will play to win.
I agree. I dont see the same kind of lethargic play against the better teams. We will look great against SH and then go back to head scratching against GTown

No, it is statistically and philosophically impossible. It's only when you can break the chains that you can see the true form of this question.

Hurley and his Huskies have certainly had this game circled on their calendar and have had ample time to prepare for it. (I'm not just referring to the couple of days since the DePaul game.) UConn has the right mix of players, and they're due to win one at the Prudential Center.

Overall, they've done much better at not fouling excessively, and hopefully that continues here. It's going to take tough defense, rebounding and rim protection. Offensively, if Tarris can be a factor on offense early and if Reibe can get involved too, it will help open things up for perimeter shooters. I'm also looking for Silas, Solo, Alex, Braylon and others to get production with midrange shots, which I think will be available.

I think we all expect this one to be a grind as usual.

Took care of business. Let's roll into Creighton 9-0. They might throw .50 cent Beer Night.

We've scratched off two of our tougher road games in PC & SHU. Nova, StJ & Creighton left.
Win 2 of those remaining 3 and you have a path to a 1 seed
