To echo Pinot, in short, the answer is no. The US quest for Olympic gold feels more like a march and foregone conclusion, but that won't stop the players from putting 100% into every game. And on any given day, anything can happen. Just look at some of the huge upsets in Olympic history...

Still, a nice article. I did not know Jackson had given up personal dreams to pursue the quest for the elusive Olympic gold medal...
