Paige Bueckers' pursuit: The national championship that keeps getting away
Will Paige Bueckers win an elusive NCAA title or become the greatest UConn player to graduate without one?
The long answer is: YEEESSSSShort answer: yes
Long Answer: YES!
He's made a career out of ranting, yelling, and being angry all the time. It got really old for me...I can't believe that I am going to type this, but....
On the ESPN app, I saw a Stephen A. Smith video titled "Paige Bueckers needs to shine in JuJu Watkins' absence".
Ummm no she doesn't. Stephen A. may consider JuJu the face of collegiate WBB but to many fans, Paige is the face and she only needs to be Paige in the tournament. Her and her teammates.
(BTW I really dislike Stephen A., always have, always will. I no longer listen to what he says, and he is not the only "voice" that I will not listen to.)
Horrible statement by Smith, just deplorable.I can't believe that I am going to type this, but....

I believe Oklahoma will be the first test with Beers. I am sure Geno has set the strategy and practices for her. Hopefully, then there will be USC without a big and maybe, just maybe UCLA or Texas but my bet is on SC.As far as I can see, the main obstacles are the teams with the bigs: UCLA and Texas. She’s shown UConn how to win against the rest of the field. Can she lead UConn past either of them? I think so, but it’s a different calculus than with the others.
I always wonder WHY does he always seem to be yelling when he is talking on TV sports shows???I can't believe that I am going to type this, but....

He knows zero about women's basketball and should not be a part of it.I can't believe that I am going to type this, but....

He is about the only thing ESPN has left, so he does what he wants. He knows zero about women's basketball and should not be a part of it.
Agree completelyI think its gonna come down to us hitting our 3's or mid-range jumpers. If we are making our shots we don't have to worry about rebounding.
We also have to play great defense but we know how to do that already.
