That was Perry Ellis and Chris Thomas.
Perry Ellis played forever... Wow, forgot about him.

Funny you bring that up. I have a friend who played for Bucknell but pretty sure he wasn’t a coal miner and didn’t play until the 70s, but he is big and he might have been liquored upTalk about Age questions:
Myth or Real??-
In the olden days(30's, 40's??) Bucknell would bring coal miners from the surrounding mining companies on campus Friday night, play a game on Saturday, "liquor 'em up" on Sat night and send them home on Sunday
Extra credit_They did play in the first orange Bowl. Opponent was who??
No, but I heard they're thinking about offering a scholarship to his grandson.Think Krauser is still playing for Pitt, no?

the question is- would spencer even consider coming back again? The idea behind it is that they are granting kids who want to play an extra year. NBA would grant a waiver to withdraw if he really wanted to based on rules change. idk, theres at least a slim chance. Would Mahaney, spencer, McNeeley, Karaban, Samson even be defensible?
Ah the olden days, black lung and alcoholism... The transfer portal really mucked up college sports.Talk about Age questions:

Well technically we still have an open roster spot.I also just wanna point out, is it ridiculous to have 25 year olds playing college sports? Probably, but multiple schools will do whatever it takes within(and without) the line, and we shouldn’t play “fair” just to stroke our moral ego.
Not that it matters since our roster is complete, but we would’ve been insane to not take Spencer back, had it been an option today. 99% of schools would’ve laughed in your face for suggesting otherwise.
Here is what Cousy looked like when he was 35 in his last year playing in the video clip. Since Ashworth now sort of looks that age, and maybe a tad like Cousy, and can handle the ball a bit, that is where this comes from. Tongue in cheek of course.Maybe, play Cousy when he was that age?
I don’t like it at face value but felt robbed only getting one year of him. IMO The committee is waiving the white flag on the issue kids can pretty much play as long as they want. They keep losing in court.I also just wanna point out, is it ridiculous to have 25 year olds playing college sports? Already happening. Start one year late, transfer and stay back a year. There's kid in my town: January birthday, start Kindergarten one year late (common now), transfer to/from a private school and repeat a year.Soon they‘ll be playing into their 20s in high school.

they were 33 when they left college, not sure if any graduated.Didn't Krauser, Troutman and Peyton Siva play in college into their 30's? Or was that just my imagination?
Yeah, but you were 30 at the time. Most states limit high school sports to <20. Private schools have their own rules.
I had to get a waiver to play as a 20 yr old senior.
I heard they went to work in a coal mine.they were 33 when they left college, not sure if any graduated.
Except the NCAA just won in court on the case that would actually impact Cam coming back. This rule has zero impact on CamI don’t like it at face value but felt robbed only getting one year of him. He didn't, he was immediately eligible at both Rutgers and UConn. He's definitely moved on though, I know he wanted to come back at one point but it seems like he's ready to start his pro career at this pointNCAA, states agree in transfer lawsuit settlement
The NCAA and a coalition of states agreed to settle a lawsuit Thursday that would allow athletes to be immediately eligible to play no matter how many times they transfer.www.espn.com
Under the agreement, the NCAA would be required to grant an additional year of eligibility to Division I athletes previously deemed ineligible under the transfer eligibility rule since the 2019-20 academic year.
Did Cam ever sit out a year due to transfer?
For what it's worth, I think Cam has moved on. Hopefully he'll get some burn in the NBA. If not, he could have a long, and successful career overseas.
He would be a good fit with them.
