What’s the prognosis on Jalens injury? As much as people are hard on him, this is devastating.

Always hard to know for sure based just on the replays. But, at minimum looked like a MCL injury, likely ACL and MCL unfortunately...

Hope I am wrong.

You could kind of see it in his face, like he knew it was serious....especially when he started waiving over Doran

Take the team and go home. It is malpractice to even play the 2nd half at this point. Disaster. What a complete and utter disaster in Storrs. We don't even have enough a Divison 1 worthy roster to finish this with our guards out.

You take the 2 best players off of any team and they look just as bad. It's just unfortunate

Love Jalen and the way he could take over games at the end. Of course there were some games he didn't have the tenacity but unfoutunately he had to do a lot since UCONN teams weren't talented besides his freshman year. Sad to see him go out like this. Hope the news is better. If this is his last game I will always remember his shot in the Cincy game. Jalen you are top dog no matter what some boneyard posters say on here.

Ok so now that we know it's an MCL sprain, does that rule out ligament damage? Or we still don't know until MRI?

Any idea how long a MCL sprain would hold a young kid like Jalen out

Have to shake my head when folks say he underachieved. The guy was 1st team AAC and 2nd team AAC as well as 1st team all freshman team in 1st 3 years. It's not his fault that he has not had/have the accompanying team he envisioned when he came to UConn.
Yeah he has had some dings due to personal decisions but the kid is a scorer and is a talent but most of all he is a Husky and stuck it out for 4 years
I wish him the best

The 2014 championship was straight up a horseshoe shoved up the collective fans arses. Still don't know how we pulled that one off.

We had a great player in Shabazz Napier with other good college basketball players surrounding him.

There was nothing LUCKY about that run. They led everyone but St. Joe's from start to finish.

Just like luck has nothing to do with the disaster that is UConn athletics right now.
