The seventh biweekly edition of the 2020-21 Boneyard Top 25 poll is rapidly approaching.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 15. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Please note: Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday, Feb. 14 (happy Valentine's Day).

Some notes and reminders:
  • Early ballots are generally not allowed, unless accompanied by instructions for contingency scenarios. All ballots need to reflect the same body of work, i.e., all games played through Sunday.
  • Please double-check your ballot for inadvertently repeated teams. This error is easy to make but not easy to catch. Here's a tip: Once you think you have your final rankings, copy them into Word, Excel or a similar program, and then sort the team names alphabetically. This should make it readily apparent if any team is listed twice.
  • Full ballots (of 25 teams) are strongly encouraged; short ballots (of at least 10 teams) are accepted.
  • No ties are allowed on a ballot. Each team on the ballot must have a unique ranking.
  • All voters are welcome regardless of fan base affiliation. The only requirement is to have a Boneyard account. Also, there is no requirement to have participated in previous polls.

I'd like to remind the voters.. that yes the Major conferences dominate the rankings, but there are alot of good mid majors out there that deserve consideration. Teams like Rice, High Point, Maine, NC A&T and so on...

Has Rice come off of Covid pause yet? I would add the fairly well known Florida Gulf Coast, ND State and SD State, Missouri State, Belmont and UT Martin and Idaho State Bengals! I would add Cal Baptist but they are ineligible this year due to the move up from D2.

I think this rule is a crock of BS! I can understand if a team went from D1 to D2, but from D2 to D1 is just punishment for that school.

Ineligible for the ncaas but not ineligible to be ranked!
Though let’s be honest, the WAC is terrible — they’re probably not even a top 100 team.

I know this may break some hearts but High Point is probably not even in the mid-major top 25.

As an aid to voters, the results for BY25 teams since the Feb. 1 poll are shown below, along with the games still to be played this weekend.

Friendly bump because I almost missed this w/ the holiday making this not a normal Monday. Thanks as always for doing this, Plebe!

Last call for ballots. Due to snowy weather and power outages in Texas, I can allow an extra 20 minutes if they need it :)

Hang tight, folks, the results will be ready within an hour, just in time for dinner.

Blame it on me everyone, Plebe noticed that I had left of the #17 ranked team and notified me almost and hour ago. I messed it up further in my reply and he had to notify me again to straighten up the mess that I made. I blamed it all on my belated birthday dinner yesterday that my Wife and Son gave me. It was the first I've seen my Son since mid January due to his contracting COVID.
