How would that work out for us, would it give us some pull with the ACC, would PP and GDL be fired by tomorrow.

Bad idea. Coach is fine in a fundraising role.

Yeah just throwing out a hypothetical it would be interesting. A couple of coaches have become AD's like Tom Osborne, Barry Alvarez, Bo Schembechler, and so on. I dont think it would work out real good with Geno, they have never gotten along real well.

The problem is almost everyone outside of CT hates coach. Especially the NCAA hypocritical cowards.

Great coach not a diplomat and you need diplomatic qualities to be an AD. This was a big failure on the part of JH imo. It remains to be seen with regards to WM.

Calhoun is the reason why we are not currently in the ACC. Pissed off too many people.

If you aren't from the Northeast there is a good chance you can't understand a damn word that comes out of Calhoun's mouth. That can't help your prospects of becoming an AD.

How would that next contract extension go with Geno when he has about 9 NCAA Championships and 1000 wins?

Calhoun is terrible with numbers. The athletic department would be in the red in no time with him as the AD! :)

People in the northeast understand him? He doesn't speak northeast. He speaks Calhoun!

If JC was still coaching and was the same age as Pitino, Uconn would have been the sexier pick. Strike that. Rick brings sex to the table.

Ummmm no he should not. Worst choice ever- better to make GB the AD at least he is not hated by half the NCAA establishment and institutions he would be working with- we need a someone politically savi- not a blunt instrument.
