Mike asked him what decisions he made in the beginning that were important, and he said the first year when they lost a lot of games, and when they only had 7 active scholarship players, that they stayed the course, and held their heads high, didn't change what they were doing, and he told everybody that they wouldn't lose that many games the next year.

Told Mike that he first knew that he could do special things there when they beat Ohio St. to win the NIT, and when they beat Cuse and Gtown consecutively.
