Bird's Eye view of the storming towards Boat at half-court from section 206. Swear to God I thought he was going to use his claws to tear the kids throat out. Solid analysis all around. Would love to see some more passion and fire from these guys as the assertiveness for most is just not there. Anybody catch the shove Shabazz gave Lamb towards the end when he slipped and called a TO? Any info on that?
I was holding my breath fearing for RB's life. To Ryan's credit he kept his mouth shut and took his lumps.

This team doesn't know how hard they are capable of playing...well until tonight. Now this begs the question, why don't they play with the same effort like they did the last 6 or so minutes more often?

Shabazz pulled the ball away from the ref because he was angry about the no-call, and Lamb told him to call the hell down before he got t'd up.

There is a reason he grandstanded boat, he has the thickest skin on the team. Just another attempt to shock the team awake. File it right next to his tech.

Quite frankly, not to take away from Coach but I thought the change was us extending our defense - got their legs tired and they could not buy a shot after that. My man Drummond was huge. He was totally dominant in the last 10 minutes. Period.

Totally agree with extending the defense. That and the fourth foul on the hillbilly was huge too.

Where the hell was Huggins with a timeout during the whole run?

For a second during the game, I thought the technical was for the student section chanting DUI in reference to Huggins.

You can click the little insert/edit image icon above the box where you type text and then paste the URL of the picture. To go along with the other thread, that photo is just begging for captions.

Ring (one of three), right hand third finger says "I can do this, will do so, and you will listen".

As much as RB may be MF'ing Calhoun in his head at that moment, he'll be back in a number of years for pick up games, charity games and the such.

I didn't even see the technical get called and I'm not even sure they announced it at the game. I figured it was on Calhoun obviously and that things were about to turn around. Didn't know how right I was.

It happened right in front of me. Basically Calhoun was pissed about Drummond getting caught second when he fouled Jones, harped on it until the next timeout, and the left the huddle during the TO and challenged the ref to T him up. Probably told him he's too much of a to call the "T".

It's funny, the TV commentators remarked that the "conversation" between Calhoun and the ref was mild. They seemed surprised JC got T'd up.
One has to wonder if JC actually requested to the ref, a T on purpose to fire up the team. Remember that commercial between Lou Pinella where he requests getting tossed. The ump's reply was "I guess you have your reasons".

It seemed to me the game changed not with the T, but when he switched to the 2-2-1 zone press, which disrupted WVU completely, and energized our guys. I really wish he'd run that defense a lot more often. The bench on this team is so deep that we could just run almost anyone into the ground.
