Refs also refused to call a clear foul, which more or less gave the game to Cal. Weird.

Tough draw for UNLV. They have to play a 12 seed 45 miles from their campus. Not to mention UNLV already beat Cal this year on the road. We'd be crying foul if that happened to us.

It pretty much does happen to us every other year

The only problem with that thought is California doesn't much care about basketball and UNLV travels well, particularly when it's only a 4 hour drive or so. The crowd wasn't hugely pro Cal. However, based on the location, I did have Cal for the upset.

Cal deserved to win. They played with more energy and UNLV made way too many mistakes and poor decisions down the stretch.
