Yes I saw someone post that before, but if it’s true then there isn’t room in a rotation for both Pierce and Stew. We don’t need 2 backup caliber PFs we need a starter and a backup. But I’m not sure if I believe it based on the teams going after him.

Probably not really relevant, but the women’s team had pretty good success with a Princeton transfer last year.

I would think Stew would start at the 4 spot. I guess I wouldn't call him a shooter, but he's shown flashes.

I hope not, need a stronger rebounder and scorer.

That would make sense, I wouldn't expect him to start. From Ivy league to the BE is a pretty big jump.

Not for the better players in the Ivy League and he was one of the better players.

I think that's likely the case. Had always thought Stew would be the 4 in waiting, but between the Pierce recruitment, Landrew, he's likely a bench piece again.

Ross is growing on me and Stewart would be a great bench piece to play 20+ minutes. I think Ross could score in double digits this year, if he was taking as many shots as Solo.

How about when Ross was hurt for a bit - if he was solid, I think Hurley would find him some minutes here and there. He doesn't look great when he gets in on the back end of blowouts. Not sure I'm seeing it there. Simply looks too slow.

But you do want to up the athleticism right? How does a potential starting lineup of Demary/Ball/Landrew/Pierce/Reibe strike you in that regard? Assuming we bring back Ross and Stew and we stick with a 9 man rotation then the only players that can bring that athleticism are the backup PG and C.

I don’t think Stewart and Ross would be too interested in coming back for a 4th year of being back ups. And I also think they both start over Landrew and Pierce

Why would he go to Duke who is bringing in a collection of 5 stars, including a PF? Meanwhile at Uconn, you have a total void of a spot open for you on what will be a seasoned roster.

I remember Jeremy Lin dealing on UConn. He was so much better than his team.
