I think I read in the Trillycord awhile back that coaches expect this dude to be depth? Might see if i can go find that post.
This would make me very happyI think I read in the Trillycord awhile back that coaches expect this dude to be depth? Might see if i can go find that post.
awkward to say but I heard Adolph can shoot the rock pretty well too.
Yes I saw someone post that before, but if it’s true then there isn’t room in a rotation for both Pierce and Stew. We don’t need 2 backup caliber PFs we need a starter and a backup. But I’m not sure if I believe it based on the teams going after him.I think I read in the Trillycord awhile back that coaches expect this dude to be depth? Might see if i can go find that post.
I hope not, need a stronger rebounder and scorer.I would think Stew would start at the 4 spot. I guess I wouldn't call him a shooter, but he's shown flashes.
That would make sense, I wouldn't expect him to start. From Ivy league to the BE is a pretty big jump.I think I read in the Trillycord awhile back that coaches expect this dude to be depth? Might see if i can go find that post.
Not for the better players in the Ivy League and he was one of the better players. That would make sense, I wouldn't expect him to start. From Ivy league to the BE is a pretty big jump.
If Ross or Stewart are starting next year we are screwed…That will be the question - does Dan Hurley feel JS or JR have starter potential? And if not, will they stick around?
Furphy hasn't quite unfolded as hoped.
I think that's likely the case. Had always thought Stew would be the 4 in waiting, but between the Pierce recruitment, Landrew, he's likely a bench piece again. If Ross or Stewart are starting next year we are screwed…
Let’s be honest..
Ross is growing on me and Stewart would be a great bench piece to play 20+ minutes. I think Ross could score in double digits this year, if he was taking as many shots as Solo.If Ross or Stewart are starting next year we are screwed…

Really? The only way he was playing this year is if Hurley used a 10 man rotation which he’s never doneFurphy hasn't quite unfolded as hoped.
How about when Ross was hurt for a bit - if he was solid, I think Hurley would find him some minutes here and there. He doesn't look great when he gets in on the back end of blowouts. Not sure I'm seeing it there. Simply looks too slow.Really? The only way he was playing this year is if Hurley used a 10 man rotation and he never has
Not screwed but I'm having a hard time envisioning as a title contender. If Ross or Stewart are starting next year we are screwed…

Can we please not start this in this thread? We all know if you say Ross three times, HW appears.Ross is growing on me and Stewart would be a great bench piece to play 20+ minutes. I think Ross could score in double digits this year, if he was taking as many shots as Solo.
I don’t think Stewart and Ross would be too interested in coming back for a 4th year of being back ups. And I also think they both start over Landrew and PierceBut you do want to up the athleticism right? How does a potential starting lineup of Demary/Ball/Landrew/Pierce/Reibe strike you in that regard? Assuming we bring back Ross and Stew and we stick with a 9 man rotation then the only players that can bring that athleticism are the backup PG and C.
Why would he go to Duke who is bringing in a collection of 5 stars, including a PF? Meanwhile at Uconn, you have a total void of a spot open for you on what will be a seasoned roster.Richard Kent called me silly on Twitter, I feel like I can retire from posting in peace.
He also said he thinks UConn and Duke are the teams to beat, he might actually have connections on this one.
I remember Jeremy Lin dealing on UConn. He was so much better than his team. That would make sense, I wouldn't expect him to start. From Ivy league to the BE is a pretty big jump.
