C-USA Buys Bahamas Bowl, BYU to Play in Miami Beach Bowl

Per Brett McMurphy C-USA has bought the Bahamas Bowl so the AAC is out of the rotation for that bowl.

The Miami Beach Bowl (which the AAC owns) will be AAC/BYU as long as they are bowl eligible this year. If they are not we will select from the group of 5. UConn (and also UCF) playing BYU in the regular season makes it very unlikley we would be selected for this bowl if eligible.

Conf USA bought it and will be one of the anchors but I think you could still see an AAC school in the mix (along w/ MAC and Sunbelt) for the spot opposite them some years.

Brett McMurphy just responded to a tweet in regards to the AAC in this bowl saying it will be C-USA vs MAC this year but the AAC is a possibility for future years.
