If you believe there aren't physical and mental differences between a 21 year old and a 23 year old, you are fooling yourself.

Will always hold a disdain for BYU in my heart for ending Casey Cochran’s career ( I know he had 40 concussions and could have ended the next week anyways)

interesting that Toledo’s and San Diego State’s 21 year olds were able to beat BYU’s 23 year olds last year. But since BYU’s 23 year olds were able to defeat Liberty’s and Idaho State’s 21year olds, i guess it’s still a mystery how BYU ever loses.

so what do you think the title of this thread means. I agree that it probably doesn’t indicate that anyone thinks they are invisible. But if it makes you feel better, I will go on record stating that I do not believe any of the players on the BYU team are invisible.

They have 14 winning seasons in the last 15 years, and 5 of them were 10 or 11 wins. We would give our left n** for that.

They also have the 10th most wins in NCAAF since 1980, 1 short of Penn St.

but a combined 18-21 record over the last three years has left the fans concerned over the direction the team is headed.

Fans were also concerned when Charlie Weiss went 16-21 over his last three years from 2007-2009. Guess losing spells can happen anywhere.

charlie Weis did the impossible. He actually had a worse winning percentage than either Ty Willingham or Bob Davie. He had more losses than Gerry Faust in the same number of years. He was clearly the most disappointing coach in Notre Dame history. Fans were actually cheering for the opposing teams in ND stadium because they thought more losses would speed his exit.

You can't be that literal.

that’s what was so confusing. They don’t always do that well, as a 18-21 record over the last three years would indicate. Apparently when they have a good coach they do well, and when they have a bad coach they don’t do well. A more interesting question would be, does two years off of training and playing football hurt more than being two years older helps. I couldn’t believe that you actually thought that taking two years off was a big advantage. I’m still not sure if you actually believe it, or if it was just a joke.
