Per Dez:

>>How will the Huskies handle this important week?

"We'll get the team back together on Monday," coach Bob Diaco said. "We'll grade the tape, talk about that. We'll do a [weight] lift after. We'll eat victory dinner after that, together as a football family, and then we'll practice on Tuesday. We'll get our timing down. It'll be more of a light practice. On Wednesday they won't practice. Thursday we'll have another timing practice to make sure our timing is down and maybe honk up the non-travel [team], get them going, and that will be fun to take kind of a developmental week with them to move their games forward. ... Friday we'll see, but not much. Saturday off, and then we get back to work on Sunday."<<

Good time to heal 10 weeks of bumps and dings.

I wonder if they will be out looking at recruits as well.

Someone should take a trip to the Harding game. Their QB is the real deal.

I saw them beat Platt 48-0. Platt isn't good but he looked fantastic. Don't know what he would look like against better competition.

Not sure why Harding is playing against tech schools. Not exactly even match ups.

They moved out of the FCIAC for some reason. Not sure why - probably because any normal school that moves into the tech division is guaranteed a playoff spot. CT needs to move to a district model like every other state

He looked really good last year in the FCIAC though even as a Freshman.

What did the offensive linemen look like? That's where the most need is.

They got beat bad by a few teams and were 6-6. From what my son's coach said they moved down in order to beat up on teams. They will finish undefeated, but not sure that means much. Tech schools shouldn't play regular publics in league play.

Bottom line it might not be worth going to watch him. If the receivers are all wide open doesn't really show his ability to read - although he does have a nice arm.
