Red Fox (Middletown) will be announcing a joint Book signing / NIL event next week for early October, featuring two point guards. A former NBA Rookie of the Year and a two time college National Champion. Should be a great time. No cover charge courtesy of the owner. Stay Tuned!
 
25 Free 50/50 Raffle Tickets to the person who guesses both featured guests. The other 50% goes to the Middletown MLK Scholarship Fund,

The NIL guest would be a current PG player.
The former NBA ROY guest was also the number 3 pick in his draft class.
 
LaMelo, Luka, or MJ? ( I know MJ wasn’t a pg but he fit the other criteria lol)
 
My first thought was Hassan and Ben Gordon. Ben was the #3 pick who has written about his struggles. He made the all rookie team along with being named the Sixth MOY but he was not the ROY.

Yep you’re right, Ben was #2 in RoY vote behind Emeka [and #3 wasn’t close to them] - I think Emeka had a strong finish to the season if I recall correctly.
Ben was so much fun to watch in the league, especially when he really had it cooking, made me question at times if I was pulling for him over the C’s in the playoffs!
