I seriously don’t know what to make of this team in mid-February. The great record is undeniable, but many of these Big East performances have been total head scratchers.

On a positive note, Solo looked great offensively. Reed redeemed himself in the second half. On a not-so-positive note, another no-show from the bench. Three baskets in a combined 39 minutes of action.

I’m usually not on the whiny ref trip, but holy crap some of the calls were insanely late and dubious.

We have zero PNR threat on this team. Remember this same offense got us 2-3 easy lob dunks a game with Sam/Cling? Riebe could develop into that, but Tarris is the worst we've had at this. People ask why the guards don't drive? Everything is cluttered and contested. They have nobody pulling the defender away.

Tarris obviously did have a better passing effort, mediocre rebounding. The decisive version of his post game is all he should be doing. One dribble and go, or one dribble and pass.

Braylon and Silas had pretty bad games on defense, and we had zero adjustments to their pick and roll. It was incredibly easy, and no doubt that tape will get passed around on us.

Solo had a high ceiling game.

Night and day by Reed from first half to second half. Played much more physical in the second half and used his power and strength to his advantage.

Championship caliber teams don't lose back to back games. Showed a lot of character responding to every Butler run.

Still really disappointing the play we are getting from the bench. Not going to cut it in March.

Tough to watch at times due to some poor interior defense. Reibe has regressed some IMO. Ball shot 50% from three. Must be his new shoes. I noticed he wasn’t wearing the orange ones. AK’s early foul trouble affected his game.

Reibe actually has shown pretty well in P&R, just not with lob finishes.

They should run this more during his minutes. Guards just need to dump off vs lob because neither Reed or Reibe can jump.

It was really nice to see this team show some killer instinct after rough game vs St Johns with that 10-0 kill shot scoring run at the end. great job!

Offense up to 20 on KenPom. Good to see that improving as the season goes on.

Our elite defense that helped us not stumble through bad games in January has not been so elite recently. Not sure what has to be fixed there.

3 point shooting seemed good - but damn, it seemed like we missed some easy ones.

Not feeling like a final four team right now, but feeling like we could get there. But it's mid February. Time to clean this up and beat teams like this by a larger margin.
