Love the 11 assists, but I’d also love to see Silas hunt his own shot more. When he finds the right balance, he’s going to be really good

No team is deeper in the country with raw talent than UConn. Ross performance off the bench tonight is a good example.

What's scary is this team is still playing very disjointed on both ends. Come March, this team will be a machine. Let's go!

Demary did a good job quarterbacking for his teammates tonight, still hoping he finds his scoring rhythm by the mid way point of conference play. It’s the difference between our offense being good or great.

I don't understand how that hasn't become automatic.

last step to fully unlocking this team will be getting Silas in some kind of scoring rhythm. He's gotta be more aggressive in scoring and can't wait to shoot when the shot clock is running down and out of sorts.

Jayden Ross deserved those extra minutes. What a performance and it afforded Hurley to keep Karaban out of the game most of the second part of the second half. Hopefully Karaban is alright. That was a nasty fall.

Hopefully, Stewart’s second half DNP was more precautionary than anything. Got banged up late in the first half.
We need everyone getting their full allotment of minutes between now and tournament time so we can be playing our best ball and jelling at that time.

You can tell Silas isn't sure when to attack or not, but he played great defense and had double digit assists. Until he finds his complete game, we will take it.

Thought he did a much nicer job of probing today than he has. It opened up a lot of the passing lanes that led to his assists. The scoring we know he has in his bag, but running the offense was great to see today. He was also getting slapped and pushed constantly and was able to play through it. Butler was VERY handsy, especially in the second half.

Thought he did a much nicer job of probing today than he has. It opened up a lot of the passing lanes that led to his assists. The scoring we know he has in his bag, but running the offense was great to see today. He was also getting slapped and pushed constantly and was able to play through it. Butler was VERY handsy, especially in the second half.

Listening to Coach Hurley's post game interview right now and he said he's frustrated that the team has no killer instinct. Said we should have won by 25-30 based on Butler's FG %.

He's not wrong. No reason to have 13 fouls in the 2nd half.

Very much better, but especially those first 4 minutes were some of the worst I've seen in a long time. Very sloppy and the team wasn't locked in. They really didn't get locked in until the U12. Hurley can't let that happen.

Yes, there are definitely some rough edges this team needs to smooth out, but you can just feel this team's potential steadily being realized.

Some people don't want to be happy. There are 9 players that play. Not everything is going to be right with all of them in the first Big East game of the season. At least they aren't 0-1 after losing to Seton Hall (there is no recovery from that).

Yeah he looks very confused in the offense. I was surprised when I looked at the boxscore early in the 2nd half and he had 7 assists. 11 assists is really good but I know he has way more in the tank and hope it comes soon. Smith was pretty bad tonight. The 3 missed free throws seemed to rattle him because he didn't do much after that and Hurley didn't play him much. I think there was one point where neither Smith nor Demary were on the floor and Mullins seemed to be running point.

I love how Demary slaps his defender's hand away when he's being guarded with hands on him. I've noticed this before. It looks like he's swatting away flies. Do refs ever call that a foul or is that allowed?
