Butler Post Game Thread

HELLO JAYDEN ROSS!!! Best game of his career and was a walking highlight reel! Let’s go!!!

Solo quietly just dropped his career high. Great shooting from 4 levels - three, midrange, rim, and FTs

Even the guys that struggled had moments. Silas looked miserable but still had 11 assists. Tarris had some really questionable moments but had 16 points on 66%

The common theme of watching Braylon is seeing that he just moves different. He’s going to be so special

Great win! I’m sure there will be some negative comments but just dropping this here - UConn led by double digits from 4:07 in the first half all the way through the end of the game. Let’s go Huskies!

Listening to Coach Hurley's post game interview right now and he said he's frustrated that the team has no killer instinct. Said we should have won by 25-30 based on Butler's FG %.

What was it that he accidentally said and then stopped

Solo is automatic in the mid-range and the three is coming around. Electric first half. Ross was by far our best player second half, easily his best game as a Husky. Glad he filled up the boxscore because he was all over the court before the points came. Awesome game for him and his confidence.

Silas gets destroyed in the chat because his scoring game has been miserable since BYU as he's figuring out how to be a point guard. He had 11 assists and Bizjack did nothing. Once he figures it out this offense will be unstoppable. Tarris and Mullins are trying to figure things out right now as well.

AK should've come out of the game and been looked at after he bashed his head.

You can tell Silas isn't sure when to attack or not, but he played great defense and had double digit assists. Until he finds his complete game, we will take it.
Thought he did a much nicer job of probing today than he has. It opened up a lot of the passing lanes that led to his assists. The scoring we know he has in his bag, but running the offense was great to see today. He was also getting slapped and pushed constantly and was able to play through it. Butler was VERY handsy, especially in the second half.
