I didn't think our frontcourt was D-2 quality, but I didn't think we had any frontcourt guys who were expected to be starters on our team before the transfers and NBA jumps. I still think that's the case, but I was wrong to limit their ceiling based on that expectation. I sold them short. Even moreso, I sold KO short in that respect, in terms of what I thought he could get out of them. And that's saying something, because I was pretty sold on him and his potential from Day 1 in every other respect.

That was literally a tall order, and he delivered. I'm glad he didn't limit his expectations.
