Plus Xavier is a team I expect to be elite 8 this year. This should be a great game

It should be a tough one, no doubt. At any point, there could be a bench-clearing brawl. It's basically the only game every year that I root for Cincy, which is probably why they choose to lose it so often...

Cincy has literally done ZERO for this conference since the start of the AAC. They consistently suck in big games out of conference. Great that they play like gangbusters in conference play, but they literally are half the reason the AAC has such a bad image as a league (you can't have your first place team go out and get pounded every year out of conference). That being said, UConn should be stepping up to carry this league, we shouldn't be leaving that job to Cincy, SMU, WSU or anyone else for that matter.

Cincinnati is one of those teams that got ranked in the top ten despite not really doing anything other than beating bad teams. I've never quite understood the hype there - it's the same team with the same limitations as always and they don't have the upside defensively they've had in the past. Clark is a terrific player but he's not the guy to take you over the top against great teams. Put them in the ACC and they're probably going 10-8 or 9-9. Mack puts a clown suit on Cronin every year.
