I would never use the Courant for lines, especially up to date lines. It has not been -2 anywhere since Tuesday.

It is a Pick basically everywhere basically.

Makes sense. We have been a bad road team in the past, with the exception of UL last year.

Happen to be in Vegas this weekend. Most Sportsbooks had UConn opening as the favorite at -2 to -2.5. This morning they are still favored at -1. I asked ticket guys at 4 of the strip's big books who all told me UConn was never the dog out here. Maybe offshore.

Towson was our low point. At least the effort has been better the last 2 games vs. quality opponents. I think we finally get in the W column today.

Bump for Pudge.... this loss wasn't hard to predict. But I'm the one who is delusional because...?

This game has all the makings of Western Michigan last year. Buffalo isn't as good as WMU last year, but we aren't as good as we were last year either.

Like many sports, football has a lot to do with energy, emotion, passion, etc. If we come out flat, we'll lose. The only reason to get up for this game is that we are 0-3. But the dejection may have taken over after that loss last week. If we are losing at the end of the first half it's over. Not just the game but the season. We'll be lucky to win more than2 games without a miracle of a turnaround.
