I really got a kick out of this piece. I’m surprised nobody wrote about it.
Shows her media savviness to the max.
She gets off the plane, rides the “tube” to the game, shows up on this Arsenal TV pregame show, with a couple of British football fanatics moderating, and as usual hits it out of the park.
* She told the interviewer that she played all sports, including soccer as a kid. Paige told her that she played all positions. To me, that meant she had the “court sense” to know what everyone was supposed to be doing. Sound familiar? The small studio audience was hushed after she said that. They had been nonstop cheering. They don’t know Paige like we do.
