The rent is a HORRIBLE music venue. No one will play there.

There are multiple cities that will get the NHL before we do. This is not for that. I’m with you…save the money. XL is fine. Let’s get some more room in the 4 corners of Gampel where the bathrooms/concessions are.
Yes, and a concourse beyond the bounds of the dome. If we can get to 12,000 seats we be good.

Up to $5 million would be used for planning, design and construction to convert the space into an academic use for UConn’s Hartford campus. According to Reitz, in the coming months, UConn will be looking at potential uses of space at the XL Center, but the university hasn’t yet determined how that space will be used, or the timing."
