Was there any news about her still being injured, or did Geno just decide not to play her?

The last two games have been very physical. Geno may have just decided it wasn't worth risking her or else she may have aggravated it in practice.

Bone bruises take a long time to heal. This may have been Geno choosing to not take a chance on making it worse. One of the things I admire about him. When it comes to his players well being and health, he is not going to put a player on the court who is not 100% at the risk of further injury for the sake of a win, especially in a regular season game. If this were for the BET championship or NC, we MAY have seen her - unless there is a non-injury reason he didn't play her.

Maybe. A bit of a surprise given that he specifically talked about resting her against WV so she could play today.

Exactly why my guess is she might have further aggravated it.

Maybe, or maybe Geno is seeing some progress in Kiah, quickly enough to become a big factor in the coming months.

CD spoke highly of Kiah's effort today. UConn's defense was pretty good. It needed offense and Buck just doesn't help. Also, the way ND was swiping at the ball, I'm not sure I'd want Buck handling the ball.

Agreed; I thought she gave some good minutes.
I was merely responding to Geno's comments about Buck the other day.

Yeah, I remember his comments. I think Geno decides whether to play Buck based on the flow of the game. With all the turnovers and with UConn struggling to score, this game didn't seem like one Heather would make much of an impact. The defense was pretty good and points and good ball security were at a premium.
