I see that Michigan is playing Syracuse Sunday on FS1 at noon.
I checked the Syracuse record and they are undefeated. As we beat
Michigan they were beating Utah.

My guess is that Michigan might come out flat today given the atmosphere on Friday
and their performance which almost stole a win. They sure looked like a dangerous
top 10 team...or better.

I'll be rooting for them today...perhaps the end of their game might be close to 2:00?
same channel as our game. Wonder who the courtside fans will be rooting for?

I am starting to believe that in the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game that we undervalued Michigan by calling Notre Dame overrated. What if they are just that caliber of team that can dominate other top 25 competition? I think Michigan will be a team that challenges for a #1 seed in a regional. They have similar talent to LSU. Putting them in the #4-6 range feels appropriate, so I hope they don't drop in the polls.

Anyways, I agree that they'll probably have tired legs and more misses in a lower scoring game while recovering from the UConn game.

If you think that Michigan was undervalued by UConn, look at the box score for their game last Tuesday, November 18.
They played 14 players, six scored in double digits, including three bench players on their way to scoring 120 points. Also their fg % was 66 and 55% for 3s. However, Swords played 21 minutes and was 1 for 4 from 3.
I don't care about the "quality" of the opponent, you still have to put the ball through the net.

Well...I'd say our Syracuse alum is correct.

Michigan did come out a bit erratic...imo...began to play like
themselves after 5 minutes....lead 20-6. Syracuse shooting more
than a tad off.

I think that's a a little unfair. There were many games throughout Paige's career where she didn't look to score in lopsided games. I'd rather a player put up 29 against a top ranked team than taking a night off and let teammates shine in a no contest game.

Where did I say anything about a player taking the night off? My point was that the whole Michigan team shot the lights out against Binghamton.

Michigan beat Syracuse 81-55. Game was over well before 2:00PM, so our tipoff should be right on time.

Syracuse was just outclassed here. Michigan especially on the defensive end is pretty good.
