Bryce McAllister receiving medical waiver and grad transferring to UMass

He’ll have 3 INT’s with 1 being a pick 6 against us next year. Just the way things have gone for us recently. Lock of the century.

So the UMass game is now the Brice McCallister Bowl for one year anyway.

Does this mean we should we be hearing about the medical redshirt status of Crozier soon? And the long shot; Levenberry?

Good for him. He had sort of a hard time here--always on the verge of starting but couldn't stay in the lineup. He was a decent player

I'd be interested to see if he gets a shot to carry the rock - there were always rumblings here that he and his family wanted that

My guess is Levenberry is gone as he walked with the seniors on senior night. Who knows about Crozier except for Coach Edsall and Crozier.

Crozier at C is much preferable to an RS Fr.
From an experience standpoint, no doubt, but coming off of his second major injury in his college career I think we’ll have to wait and see.

The UMass game will be a very difficult game for us. UMass isn't bad, and they played some p5 teams pretty tough last year. Whipple does a decent job getting his teams to play.

We shouldn’t be favorites in that game.

Does anyone have the "back story" on why Whipple was turned down as UConn coach on one, or possibly two, occasions when we hired coaches that failed?
His teams are always tough, he's won a National Championship, and as someone else noted he played some major conference teams really tough the past couple years.

He should be better protected as a C than Hopkins or Bennett we're after their multiple injuries.

Overall track record for success as a lineman after two leg injuries is low.

I am bookkeeping an L in my mind's eye. But if it is close like a couple this last year that were L's, I figure the Huskies will find a way next year to win.
