Britney, Andre and Shabazz - Too funny

Can you help us with where the funny part is please?

Three observations.

First, the author has the same taste in music as my eight-year old daughter. They can exchange play lists. I am not judging either of them, just making a comment. Of course, one of them is eight and presumably has an excuse.

Second, I dislike any site that takes a relatively short article and spreads it across three pages to artificially drive up their ad numbers. Makes for a bad reader experience. I don't need to read the Hour and am even less inclined to do so with that sort of nonsense.

I have a third observation, but am keeping it to myself because my New Year's resolution is to be nice. If I had not made that resolution, I might wager a guess that you're either John Nash or you work for the Hour. I think I'd win that one.

Nah, can't be. Just because he has 5 posts in 3 months and all of them make reference to the "clever" John Nash and "The Hour" (which, coincidentally I had never heard of before today) ?

If I hadn't resolved not to be so cynical in 2012, I might agree with you.

Wow. You let your daughter listen to Jay Z and Kanye West in addition to the once troubled Miss Spears? Hope you're at least wise enough to buy the PG-13 versions of each song. And, no, I'm not John Nash. Only know him through The Hour, for which I'm not employed but it is the paper in my town and has covers my daughter's high school. Had you read other threads you would have learned that I get most of my UConn info through www.courant.com, but you obviously didn't do your homework.

Again, I'm sure there's a parenting thing in there with the rap music somewhere.

Oh and by the way, make sure you skip David Borges story in the New Haven Register — they spread his story out over four pages. Ka-ching, ka-ching, right?

I couldn't give a rat's behind what newspaper websites do to make money. After all, The Boneyard has how many pages of comments? And what's that across the top? I want and get my information from a variety of websites, who cares how I get it. Not me.

And in closing did you happen to notice that I've only been a member for a few months, after I found out about The Boneyard through The Hour's blog about UConn? I'm sure you didn't.

Let me make my own New Year's resolution ... A lot of people don't comment on sites like this because they get caught up in these stupid infantile exchanges started by people like yourself. You made me become a part of it for this one post. Never again. I hope.

Pretty weak article in general.
