Tigers aren't ready. UCONN takes the kickoff and marches on a nice drive culminating in a Chandler to Davis TD. That's right, first drive of the season get's seven. McCombs and Max combine for 150 on the ground and that gives Chandler plenty of time to go 17-27-220-2-0. Tight end takes in the other TD pass.

On defense Jesse isn't needed in the fourth quarter after two sacks and Yawin gets rest as well. UCONN fans welcome Graham and Obi who have solid games. There's a pick-six and I think it may be TyMeer.

It's close at the half with the Huskies in the locker room with a 14-7 lead. It's a snooze fest in the fourth and a 30-14 UCONN W.

Terps come in next and UCONN looks to accelerate FUCRE departure from his current employment.

Don't see this years version of Towson moving the ball much against our defense. Their LBs are good and might keep the rbs in check for a while. Thats why we need to use our speed and our athleticism and open up the passing game. I think we will eventually but only enough for a 10-17 pt win. We should beat this team by at least that much.

Too much size and speed for Towson as the defense picks up from last year without missing a beat. Offense does enough and the special teams score a touchdown

Hoping for a victory but I don't think it will be easy.

Towson IS NOT URI, Southern Texas, Hofstra, Maine or Liberty........in fact they could be UConn's version of Michigan's Middle Tennessee State.

UConn has not proven yet that they are a mighty offensive power.

Shouldn.t be close at half time, but if it is.....watch out!

Not exactly a glowing start to the season........Offense meanders around for 4 quarters. Some decent rushing yards (120-140) Whitmer is mediocre to start the season (215 yards 1 TD 1 INT). Defense is a presence, gives up 1 td, off an interception and 2 fg's. DLine does good work against a veteran O Line. Line backers all produce. Taylor Mack gives up 1 long ball. Obi forces a fumble. McCombs get 2, Max gets 1, and Walsh gets 1 (rec).

As long as there are no injuries it's a win and we got our feet wet for the season. Head into a week off with plenty of time to plan for MD.

All depends if MacQuillian is ready to go and 100%...if O-Line has improved at all. If no to either of those it will be a long night. Ambrose will stack the box at start of the game if he is smart and see if things have changed for us in the run game. Towson won't be a
push over that's for sure...they have former BCS recruits all over their roster so the athleticism should certainly be there.

Defense puts the clamps on for the most part. Offense flashes pace, tempo and explosion, but gets a bit sloppy with a couple TO leading to short scoring drives for Towson...
